NetSpot for Mac lets you survey your Wi-Fi network to assess the quality of the connections provided in various areas of your home or office. Follow the instructions to complete your scan, and find. NetSpot Device Installer is a utility software developed for MAC OS that enables the configuration of network protocol settings on Canon devices connected to a network. NetSpot Device Installer can be used directly from source without installing it on a computer. Mac users, rejoice! With the Mac app NetSpot, you can easily avoid WiFi dead zones. The app, launched earlier this year for OS X, scans nearby WiFi networks revealing signal strengths, security types, channel information, and more as soon as you launch it.
We’re glad to announce a fresh minor update of NetSpot, v. 2.11. The release adds support for macOS Catalina for Mac users, has some improvements and performance enhancements for both macOS and Windows.

NetSpot for macOS:

- updated OUI lists for better AP vendor identification
- fixed Dark mode is currently disabled until NetSpot 3
- fixed The animation shown during scanning
- fixed Issues while working with the high-resolution maps
NetSpot for Windows:
- added Export of the current values from the Discover mode to a file
- fixed Interaction with the map after its rotation at the initial stage
- fixed Exporting only the measured map area
- fixed Crash when calculating interference for networks with incorrect channel value

The app includes two functions, each in its own tab. In the 'Discover' tab, you can get all the information you need on each of the WiFi networks that your computer can locate. This way, you can check what kind of signal it emits, the channel and transmission band, the BSSID identifier, the connection percentage you have access to, and even the brand of the router that's emitting the signal.
And from the 'Survey' tab, you can make adjustments to the WiFi network at home or in your office to improve its quality and speed. All you have to do is install the NetSpot app on your portal and select a home test map or create a real one. After deciding the area that you want to check, NetSpot will analyze the space you've indicated and show the networks with the best results in that area.
One drawback of this app, perhaps, is that it's not a good option for inexperienced users since both its terminology and the 'Survey' option could be too complicated.
