I didn’t try it store and just grabbed it and I really don’t regret buying it but I personally think Lady Danger.
Sometimes matte lipsticks can feel too dry and make our lips looked cracked and old. Meet MAC Powder Kiss Lipstick. The formula feels like you have on a lip balm. I do not know how they did this but WOW. This new lipstick formula is extremely comfortable on the lips. As I was swatching them they went on smooth and easy. Like your lips, when you swatch very matte lipsticks they do not swatch great. The red shades caught my attention right away. Style Shocked reminds me of a subdued Lady Danger. This shade is the perfect shade if you are new to a bold lip. Many of the more “bold” colors are.
As a disclaimer I did go back and forth a couple times for my swatches but they are pigmented and not sheer! I just wanted to get my swatch to look a bit straight and not super messy. On the lips these look exactly how they are described. However they can be worn as a more sheer look and very buildable. So much to love about this formula! I would say as you should with all lip products make sure to scrub your lips and prep them before hand. My lips are a bit chapped and were not prepped and you could see a lot of those lines when I was trying them out.
